2MK Architects was engaged as the Prime Consultant for this project. Our scope of work included reviewing and evaluating the condition of the existing 40 units with various unit types, providing design recommendations for client review, and preparing the proposed improvements, finalizing designs, prepare energy models, Accessibility improvements, Preparation of cost estimates, Development of project schedules, Preparation of construction documents. Project construction phasing & provide designs for temporary accommodation during construction
Following schematic design, we advanced the project into Design Development, which included:
- Finalizing interior and architectural designs
- Preparing energy models
- Integrating accessibility improvements
- Preparing detailed cost estimates
- Developing the project schedule
- Producing fully coordinated construction documents
2MK maintained a consistent site presence during construction, attending regular site meetings, issuing field review reports, and providing timely responses to all construction concerns, and shop drawings; including Proactive monitoring of schedule and construction progress.
