KITCHENS AND BATHROOMS RENOVATIONS AT PEEL LIVING RESIDENTIAL – STATIONVIEWPLACE

2MK Architects served as the Prime Consultant for this project. Our engagement began with a comprehensive review and evaluation of the existing 52 two-storey townhouse units across several unit types. We provided design recommendations for client consideration and prepared schematic design options to form the basis of the proposed improvements. This phase included full coordination with our mechanical and electrical engineering sub-consultants.

Following schematic design, we advanced the project into Design Development, which included:

  • Finalizing interior and architectural designs
  • Preparing energy models
  • Integrating accessibility improvements
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates
  • Developing the project schedule
  • Producing fully coordinated construction documents

This project demanded close collaboration and continuous communication among all stakeholders, consultants, and contractors. Through this integrated approach, the team delivered creative, multi-disciplinary solutions to emerging challenges, ensured the timely issuance of complete and coordinated tender documents, and supported a responsive contract administration process.

During construction, 2MK maintained a strong site presence – attending regular site meetings, issuing field review reports, and providing timely responses to construction inquiries and shop drawing reviews. Our proactive monitoring of schedule, quality, and construction progress helped facilitate smooth execution and successful project completion.
